A VW Camper is perfect for Summer
The VW Camper has been around since the 1950s. It was something of a big deal when it first launched as an ‘ingenious offshoot of the Micro Bus’. The original models had two bench style seats behind the driver that were removable so that the camping unit could be lifted inside.
It could sleep three adults as well as two or three children, and had space for a two-burner gas stove too!
Repairing the VW Camper
This VW Camper came into us in need of some welding. Here are some action shots of the team during repairs back in April.
The campervan is a modern light blue and white 2005 Danbury which has the reliability of a newer engine, compared with the vintage models, but all the cuteness of a traditional camper. It is the perfect vehicle for day trips to the coast and can be fitted out to sleep a family of four using the pop up roof!
We look after all sorts of vehicles here at Car Magic from quirky camper vans like this and the VW Transporter we renovated back in March, right through to work vans, family cars, classic and sports cars too. If you need repairs by a team who are fast, friendly and efficient then look no further. Get in touch via our contact form or call us on 01442 864022.
