Skoda repairs and a happy customer!

Here’s a quick look at some recent Skoda repairs that have been through our workshop. The first is a Skoda Octavia with a damaged nearside sill section. The owner of this car is local and knew we’d make a great job on this repair following previous work after reversing into a post and leaving us this review back in November 2022:

“Crunch! That sickening moment when you realise you’ve reversed into a post that somehow you weren’t alerted to! A few hours later, the call to Martin or Stuart and suddenly the problem seems less of a drama. You know from several similar events that your car or your partner’s will be in expert hands and that unsightly dent will have vanished and your vehicle returned to you, spick and span again. Seriously guys, I’d love not to see you for a good while yet, but human nature being what it is………! Thanks a big bunch for another great job!”

Skoda repairs are in progress

Below is a photo of the more recent repairs in progress and a look at the finished result.

New sill section fitted and blended for seamless results. We were once again happy to receive excellent feedback from this customer.

“If I could buy shares in Car Magic, I certainly would, not for the growth in my investment nor for the big dividends I might get, but just to support a really decent, fun business that delivers just what it says on the tin. I think this month is probably the fifth or sixth annoying bump that my wife occasionally and I, mainly, have had really excellently dealt with by the Hall/Beal combo.

The final invoice always seems to come in on target with the original quote, the service is always prompt and enjoyably personable and this time, they also fitted me a perfectly serviceable battery, when my ancient one decided to drift off to battery heaven on their watch.

The damage I’d done this time was not a cheap and easy fix and they must have realised the pain it was causing to my household budget, because, amazingly, there was no charge for the supply and fit of the replacement. Very big thanks, guys, for another great job!

Five   ️PS I hope I’m not building up expectations of free parts replacement in my last para, but that was a big blessing on this occasion!”

More Skoda repairs

Here’s another Skoda in need of repairs but this time it is a Superb and the damage was to the rear bumper and offside quarter as you can see in the picture below.

Photographed whilst inside our on-site oven this Skoda was repaired and painted to look as good as new.

Another Skoda in the oven here all prepared for some paintwork by our expert team. This Skoda Fabia had repairs to the offside front door. The repairs are filled and primed before we blend the offending area with the rest of the car.

The Skoda is outside, washed, and ready to be collected. The offside is looking great and the damage is a distant memory!
